John Clune, lawyer for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s second accuser Deborah Ramirez, sent a letter Wednesday directly to the FBI to request an investigation of her sexual misconduct claim.

Ramirez has been requesting an FBI investigation since she came forward with her allegation that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a Yale party, but Senate Republicans have not been receptive to the request.

This is good, I think - puts the ball in the GOP’s court, since the FBI will have to state that it isn’t their call to not investigate.
