Obama: I Should Make Bill Clinton ‘Secretary Of ‘Splaining Stuff’

President Obama on Friday commended former President Bill Clinton on his speech at the Democratic National Convention this week, and said that he received an email urging him to appoint the former president as “Secretary of Explaining Stuff.”

“President Clinton made the case in the way that only he can,” Obama told supporters in New Hampshire. “Somebody e-mailed me after the speech and said, ‘you need to appoint him Secretary of Explaining Stuff.'”

“That is pretty good. I like that,” Obama said, before adding more emphasis. “Secretary of ‘Splaining Stuff!”
