Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY) has lost his campaign manager.

The New York Daily News reported this weekend that Bill Cortese, the Grimm campaign’s only full-time employee, decided to make a change following Grimm’s indictment last month on over a dozen federal charges.

A source told the Daily News that Grimm could no longer afford Cortese’s $5,500 per month salary. Big donors backed off, and the National Republican Congressional Committee cut off support, following Grimm’s indictment. Grimm is being challenged by Democrat Domenic Recchia.
