McCarthy: Next 72 Hours Are ‘Critical’ In Reaching Budget Deal

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy said during a Capitol Hill briefing Wednesday that the next 72 hours are “critical” in reaching a deal to avert the fiscal cliff. If President Obama continues to “play politics,” McCarthy said, “that will give you the answer of where we’re going.”
