Maryanne Trump Barry, a federal appellate court judge in Philadelphia who is GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s older sister, received a threatening letter on Friday, NBC News reported.
It wasn’t clear if the letter came to Trump Barry’s home or work address, according to the report.
One of Trump’ sons, Eric, had received a suspicious letter Thursday that contained non-toxic white powder and was postmarked in Massachusetts.
NBC News reported there was no white powder in the letter sent to Trump Barry, citing an anonymous source familiar with the investigation.
USA Today said the FBI “is aware of the incident” and working with the Secret Service and U.S. Marshals Service.
Hey, this is life in Trump-era America–filled with insults and threats of violence.
Even if she wasn’t a federal judge (What the f— in regards to that), in the end, doing these actions isn’t really smart at all.
In the end, all that does is gin up sympathy for him.
I did not know this about his sister…or that he had one.
I condemn this completely. I do want to mention, however, that Trump should be fine with it. He’s on record as being ok with killing family members of terrorists. This is a pretty reasonable parallel to that. If you want to threaten Trump, it seems reasonable, by that standard, to also threaten his family.
she was the one who got a mention when the Supreme Court question was asked by a moderator (i think in February).
