A massive manhunt for a former Los Angeles police officer suspected in multiple shootings continued early Friday.
Christopher Dorner’s truck on Thursday was found torched 80 miles east of Los Angeles, near the Bear Mountain Ski Resort, the Associated Press reported. Police ordered a lockdown of local businesses, homes and ski resorts, the LA Times reported.
Dorner is suspected of killing a police officer early Thursday as well as the daughter of a former police captain and her fiance during the weekend. He allegedly wrote a violent manifesto on Facebook, detailing his plans for violence against police officers. Dorner had been fired from the LAPD.
