A judge on Wednesday set a preliminary hearing for Aurora theater shooting suspect James Holmes for 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, the Denver Post reports. At the hearing, prosecutors will reveal evidence against Holmes in order to convince the judge to let the case proceed to trial.
From the Post:
This will be the biggest hearing to date in the murder case and is expected to last an entire week.
There will be at least two overflow rooms with audio and video feeds for the hundreds of people expected to attend, including victims, family members, media and the general public.
