The President’s son-in-law and senior adviser is reportedly working the phones to mediate the standoff between Democrats and Republicans over funding for President Trump’s border wall.

According to a source briefed on the matter who spoke to CNN, Jared Kushner has put in a call to at least one Democratic senator, suggesting that public support for Trump’s border wall will grow after his address from the Oval Office Tuesday evening.
