Kavanaugh is a victim of his own lying, poor judgement, lack of judicial temperament, and alcoholism. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a victim of her own lying. Dr. Ford is responsible for herself and is a hero.
What does the DC press want to accomplish in these periodic pieces of farce and kabuki? Is there an actual set of objectives or goal to be achieved here? There’s precious little “informing the public here.” it’s nothing more than a self justifying ritual, like in that tribe, I forget which one, but there are next to no game animals left in their territory. The women do all the work of gathering food and sustenance, but the men regularly get together and go out on a ritual hunt, always coming back empty handed.
The R’s seem to think they’ve found a winning approach with this “Blasey is a victim of the Dems” baloney. But how does any of this even remotely make sense??!
Is it enough for the GOP that it is a self-righteous headline-grabbing talking point? It sounds great when they say it! But I’m trying very hard, and I can’t even come up with a flimsy logical basis for it. Nada.

It’s not a political party anymore, it’s a cult. The GOP rank and file are aware that Trump lies and their leaders spout bullshit, but it’s ok with them, because there’re greater goals to be achieved: owning the libs and the weilding of power against the other, the enemy.
