Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) weighed in on the drama between the Pope and Donald Trump during a CNN town hall Thursday night, saying “I’m pro Pope.”
“Put me down in the pro-pope column,” Kasich said. “This man has brought more sense of hope.”
The Pope said Thursday that building walls “is not Christian,” referring to Trump’s position that he would erect a giant wall between the U.S. and Mexico. Trump fired back, but Kasich inferred Thursday that Trump’s message was meant to divide the country.
“We have a right to build a wall, but I gotta tell you there are too many walls between us,” Kasich said. “We need bridges between us if we are going to fix the problems in Washington.”

The problem with Rethuglicans and “bridges” is that they all lead to the 16th Century.
Bridges, not walls, but the kind of bridges that lift up and then stay up forever.
All this tawk 'bout bridges…good thing Christie is out.
