Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) began her time questioning Christine Blasey Ford Thursday by noting: “You know you are not on trial.”

“You are not on trial,” Harris continued. “You are sitting here before member of the United States Senate’s Judiciary Committee because you had the courage to come forward. Because, as you have said, you believe it was your civic duty.”

  1. Really pisses me off that I’m not able to watch Sens. Harris and Booker have their time.

Does anyone really believe that the Rs would have been so minutiae-directed as their “prosecutor” seems to be?

  2. Nothing they do surprises me much anymore, well, unless one of them tells the truth.

  3. Sen. Harris was the best of that round without question.

  4. When Harris said, ‘You Are Not On Trial’, she must have been tempted to blurt out “Could have fooled me.”

  5. Gah! Are comments working on any new posts?!

    And here’s news, not unexpected.

Word I hear from friends on Hill is that @SenMajLdr and WH plan to forge ahead with a committee vote on Kavanaugh tomorrow and floor vote at noon on Saturday.
