White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest questioned how successful Donald Trump’s Wednesday visit to Mexico would be, comparing it to President Obama’s visit to Germany when he was campaigning in 2008.

Earnest delivered a sick burn while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, saying it remained to be seen whether Trump’s reception in Mexico would be as enthusiastic as then-Sen. Obama’s trip to Germany during his 2008 presidential campaign.

“It is not uncommon of course for leading presidential candidates to make overseas trips,” Earnest told the press pool. “One of the highlights was a trip to Germany, where the president spoke in Berlin to a crowd of about 100,000 Germans who warmly received him and enthusiastically cheered his speech. We’ll see if Mr. Trump is similarly received.”

Trump is expected to deliver a statement alongside Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto Wednesday afternoon, but not take questions from the press.

So add Earnest to the list of people in the political world who are skeptical about Trump’s visit, including Hillary Clinton and former Mexican President Vicente Fox.
