Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are reportedly searching for a house in Washington, D.C., amid talks that Kushner will serve as a White House adviser, CNN reported Monday.
The couple currently lives in New York City’s Upper East Side with their three children. Not much is clear about when they’ll make the move to the nation’s capital, CNN reported.
Kushner’s reported track as an official adviser is made rocky by anti-nepotism laws that could prevent him or Ivanka Trump from serving in any official capacity, but that hasn’t stopped her from sitting in on meetings or him from becoming trusted council for the President-elect.
Incoming First Lady Melania Trump and her son Barron will not be living in the White House initially when Trump is inaugurated. They will remain in Trump Tower while Barron finishes the school year.
