In Letter To Grassley, Feinstein Requests That Kavanaugh Vote Be Delayed

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) sent a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley on Monday, citing the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavnaugh and his possible perjury during committee questioning as rationale to delay the confirmation vote.

Feinstein is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

  1. Lies and misrepresentations do not seem to be an issue that causes a problem or concern for Republicans (as long as said lies and misrepresentations were made by another Republican … for partisan gain … to maintain and use power).

  2. I would love to see some further digging into Kavanaugh’s professed ignorance of any inappropriate behavior by Judge Kozinski.

    This writer clerked for Kozinski and says that there might be an easy way to find out if Kavanaugh was on the “Easy Rider Gag List,” to which [Kozinski] would send sexually explicit and otherwise raunchy jokes. Kavanaught testified that he couldn’t remember ever receiving anything sexual or inappropriate from Kozinski. If he was on the list, he received such material many times.
