NBC News and Fox News are projecting real estate mogul Donald Trump as the winner of the Illinois Republican primary Tuesday night.

With 30 percent of the vote counted, Trump is winning the race by 40.3 percent. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was in second place with 25.9 percent of the vote.

The win added to what was already a big night for Trump, who posted a double-digit victory over Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) in the senator’s home state.

According to TPM’s PollTracker Average before the primary, Trump was leading the field by nearly six points, with Cruz in second place and Ohio Gov. John Kasich in third with 18 percent support.
