Hillary Clinton will make her first public appearance Wednesday night since conceding to Donald Trump last week.

Clinton is expected to give a speech at the Children’s Defense Fund Beat the Odds Celebration in Washington, D.C. An unnamed aide told CNN that the speech will be part reflection, part pledge to remain strong in the face of four years of a Trump presidency.
