Hillary Clinton told the New Hampshire Union Leader on Tuesday that she has seen pictures from the Planned Parenthood videos released by an anti-abortion group and found them “disturbing.”

“Planned Parenthood is answering questions and will continue to answer questions. I think there are two points to make,” Clinton told the newspaper. “One, Planned Parenthood for more than a century has done a lot of really good work for women: cancer screenings, family planning, all kinds of health services. And this raises not questions about Planned Parenthood so much as it raises questions about the whole process, that is, not just involving Planned Parenthood, but many institutions in our country.”

The series of “sting” videos released by anti-abortion group The Center for Medical Progress purportedly showed a top official at Planned Parenthood discussing selling fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood has said that the videos misrepresent the company’s operations.

Republicans in the Senate have moved on a bill that would cease federal funding to Planned Parenthood, which provides wide-ranging healthcare services to men and women.

“And if there’s going to be any kind of congressional inquiry, it should look at everything and not just one (organization),” Clinton told the New Hampshire newspaper.

  1. Oh, god. Did she just Sister Souljah the pro-choice movement?

  2. This is why I have no strong interest in voting for Hillary. She’s reactive, fawning and opportunistic. Instead of getting out in front of right-wing misinformation, she has an uncanny knack (Iraq vote is a prime example) of being dragged behind it.

  3. They are disturbing, and indefensible. Or rather, the only defense possible is to say, “That didn’t happen. The video is a complete fake and what you are seeing in the video never really happened.” But if the actions shown in the video did actually happen then there is no way those actions can be defended.

  4. what it sounds like to me.
    damn

  5. bs. the videos are edited and the makers are liars.
