Google Maps Expands Public Transit Directions To 500 Cities Worldwide

Google on Wednesday announced that Google Maps has begun providing directions for public transit systems in 500 cities worldwide and over 1 million public transit stops. The information allows users to see real-time schedules of bus, subway, train, monorail and other public transit systems, as well as the directions of the lines themselves.
