After a Thursday night Fox News special starring presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s family, which featured sit-down interviews with his three oldest children and wife, a slew of viewers pointed out the special wasn’t exactly a feat of adversarial journalism.
The hour-long special, hosted by Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, featured multiple montages of Trump delivering his signature pro-business stump lines, a tour of the Trumps’ Fifth Avenue penthouse, and a walk-through of the newest Trump property blocks from the White House.
Here were just a few reactions from top conservatives:
This is real. This is a real thing being broadcast on Fox News right now. pic.twitter.com/0E0tcedvX5

This special feels like something you’d see on state-run television somewhere.

Another hard-hitting question from @Greta:
“Do you think [your dad] wants to be president?” she asks @DonaldJTrumpJr.

So the Greta Trump special last night……wow.
Pravda-like.

That Fox News ‘Meet the Trumps’ special is not a sitcom … or is it? https://t.co/63gQPPu13p

Well, that may not be “news”, but it is truly “special” (in the church-lady sense).
Were it not for the network referenced in the headline one might think they were about to read of the latest Jimmy Kimmel show.
Since there is no thought or policy that would attract any person with a working brain to conservatism, or the GOP, just what did these august name-brand conservatives think would be in the program? What exactly have these people thought Fox News’ purpose has been all these years?
Yeah. Not on Chump’s watch.

“How terrible!” say a bunch of people who will probably vote for Trump.
