Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) attributed House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s primary loss to an “anti-incumbent” fever among the GOP base.

“Our constituents are very angry at this administration and the way they’re running this country, and they’re angry at us and our leadership, the Republicans, because we’re not stopping them from doing it,” he said.

“I get that all the time. It’s gotten fever pitched. They’re ready to go after anybody that represents Washington,” Fleming continued. “There’s very much of an anti-incumbent fever right now.”
