Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told NBC’s Chuck Todd on Friday that the ongoing unrest in Syria may devolve into full-blown civil war. Clinton blamed Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s regime for provoking defectors.
Regarding Syria, Clinton told Todd there was “no appetite” for the kind of U.S. or U.N. military intervention that contributed to the downfall of Col. Muammar Qaddafi in Libya.
