New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie told the “Today” show that Mitt Romney likely regrets telling Michigan supporters that no one has asked to see his birth certificate, a nod to the fringe “birther” movement that questions President Obama’s citizenship.
“I think if he had to do it over again, he wouldn’t make that joke,” Christie said.
