Trump: Christie’s Previous Criticisms Against Me Were Just ‘Politics’

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R)’s previous criticisms against him “just politics.”

Christie, who quit his presidential bid earlier this month, endorsed the real estate mogul on Friday.

“I think it is politics,” Trump said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I mean, people say things, and then all of a sudden, reality sets in. And he’s great. He’s a great guy. He’s the one endorsement I really wanted. I wanted it badly.”

As Christie sought the GOP nomination, he called Trump “thin-skinned” and a “13-year old” for skipping the Fox News presidential debate. Christie also said Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims was “ridiculous.”

  1. Hahahaha, just politics except when a democrat says the same stuff. Then somebody gets sued.

Anybody notice that I REALLY don’t like Trump?

  2. Trump: After Cruz and Rubio endorse me, I would say that both these guys are the greatest latinos in America.

Trump continued… “You’re a fool if you believe anything I’m saying.”

I’m pretty much convinced that Trump is just a billionaire version of an internet troll.

  4. Oh, but it certainly isn’t politics now, Donald. Now he’s saying what he really thinks. How he really feels is that he admires you and wants to be you. Everyone feels that way, especially the haters and the losers. Nobody thinks you’re a buffoon. Shhhh, don’t cry. Nobody could ever think that.

  5. Can someone please ask Christie what he thinks now about Trump’s comments regarding Muslims. Ask him if his criticisms were “just politics”. Ask him if he agrees with Trump about the wall, and making Mexico pay for it. There are a long list of questions that he should be asked, now that he has endorsed someone with a set of ideas and opinions he so thoroughly criticized a short time ago.
