Republican mega donor Charles Koch said in an interview aired Sunday that it was “possible” that it would be better to have Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as president rather than a Republican.
Koch, in comparing the presidencies of President Bush to President Clinton, Hillary Clinton’s husband, said the country in some ways was better off under President Clinton.
“So is it possible another Clinton could be better than another Republican?” ABC News’ Jon Karl asked Koch.
“It’s possible, it’s possible,” Koch replied.
Karl asked Koch if he could see himself supporting Clinton. Koch seemed to stumble over his words.
“We would have to believe her actions would be quite different than her rhetoric. Let me put it that way,” Koch said.
