Responding to questions about President Obama’s experience skeet shooting, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters on Monday that the President’s aim has improved, but he’s not an expert.

“He never pretended to or suggested that he had grown up as a hunter or engaging in sports activities with weapons,” Carney said aboard Air Force One, according to a White House pool report. “He simply said that he had, and this is the truth, that he had enjoyed shooting at Camp David. That’s a fact.”

The White House over the weekend released a photo of Obama skeet shooting, after skeptics questioned whether the President really shot guns at Camp David, as he claimed. The photo of Obama shooting was taken in August 2012.
