Herman Cain didn’t have much of a reaction to a new Rick Perry endorser who has called Mormonism a “cult.” TPM’s Evan McMorris-Santoro reports:

“No comment. No comment,” Cain told CNN Friday. “Some people feel that way. You know, I respect everybody’s, you know, religious beliefs and Mormonism’s been around a long time. No comment. Not going to get into that.”

“I don’t think it’s appropriate to say, but he said it,” Cain added. “Okay? He said it, but I don’t want to get into it. I want to focus on growing the economy. Creating jobs.”
