Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday dismissed opponents who argue that the debate over gun violence shouldn’t focus on firearms laws.
Speaking at a conference on gun violence in Danbury, Conn., Biden accused opponents to new gun policies proposed by the White House of “looking for roadblocks” and said it’s “amazing some of the questions” he receives from the pro-gun contingent.
“They say, ‘All you’re going to do, Biden, is deny law abiding citizens their Second Amendment rights,” Biden said.
“They say it isn’t about guns,” he continued. “It is about guns.”
