Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday backed up Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) call for rules reform.

Asked if he supported Reid’s move to advance filibuster reform on the Senate floor Thursday morning, Biden replied “Yes, I do,” according to a pool report.

Biden, who served as a Democratic senator from Delaware for 36 years, also acts as the president of the Senate and may cast a vote in that chamber when necessary to break a tie.
