David Axelrod, senior adviser to the Obama campaign, sought to put to rest a slew of questions about President Obama’s handling of the attacks in Libya immediately following the crisis by saying Obama had taken all necessary actions immediately, during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday.”
Host Chris Wallace brought up the fact that Obama had campaigned in Nevada the day after the attacks.
“Everything was put in motion that he could put in motion,” Axelrod said. “Every conversation that needed to be had was being had between him and his top national security officials.”
