Day In 100 Seconds: Rush For Cover (VIDEO)

Strong winds were blowing everywhere today, from tornado warnings across a large swath of the country, to the storm kicked up by Rush Limbaugh’s controversial statements on Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown law student who testified at the Democrats’ birth control hearing.

Many states, including Tennessee, Alabama and Kansas, have been battered by a growing number of tornadoes and the number is expected to increase over the coming day. TV presenters took the opportunity to either stand outside, or head to the storm’s eye.

Limbaugh continued to expose the world to his unique brand of commentary, branding Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute,” among other things. Fluke was across the networks today defending herself, and gained a high-profile in President Obama, who called Fluke to offer his support.
