In the spirit of St Patrick’s Day, President Obama has been on a green energy push. Of course, everything he does turns his detractors an unfortunate shade of purple. Whether it’s a short film documenting his achievements in office, or referring to technophobes as members of the Flat-Earth Society.

But people on both sides are willing to put those issues on hold, and come together over a healthy dose of what is now being called medicine — beer.
