Following on from our story last night, cable news blew up today with the revelation that Rick Santorum has been sending out robocalls to convince Michigan Democrats to vote for him, in order to embarrass Mitt Romney.
The buzz-phrase of the day was that this was the latest example in this nasty primary campaign of a candidate using “dirty tricks” (see if you can tell who was the instigator of that particular talking point).
Also ratcheting up towards full campaign mode, Barack Obama is showing glimpses of what to expect in the run-up to November, giving a rousing speech to the UAW and ceding no ground to the latest right-wing scare.
