We’ve got yet another late poll out of Iowa tonight. This one from PPP.
The numbers aren’t dramatically out of line with the trend we’ve seen develop over the last week. But they heighten the drama.
And the results are: Paul 20%, Romney 19%, Santorum 18%, Gingrich 14%, Perry 10%, Bachmann 8%, Huntsman 4%, Roemer 2%.

Late Update: Note that we’re dealing with very small sample sizes when we start breaking up a two day poll into individual days. But in a follow-up tweet, PPP noted that the two days of the poll (Sat & Sun) went like this: “Sat: Romney 21, Paul 19, Santorum 18, Newt 14, Perry 10. Sun: Paul 21, Romney/Santorum 18, Newt 14, Perry 10.”
These are minute enough differences that I would not suggest reading much into them, especially since the other evidence we have points to Paul falling, not rising. But as long as we’re reading tea leaves …
