Reid confirms that he’ll hold a vote in the Senate on the Ryan budget resolution with its Medicare phase out plan.
So far only Susan Collins has said she’ll vote against the Medicare Phase Out plan and the rest of the Ryan budget resolution.
I’m very curious to hear what other Senators have said so far about the Medicare Phase Out plan. If you’ve got press clips, send them my way.
“It would be a big mistake for everyone to jump to a conclusion now based on the release of this document, which raises as many questions as it answers.” — Joseph Farah, founder/editor of World Net Daily and key figure in the birther movement on today’s release of President Obama’s long-form birth certificate.

The notorious John Yoo, famous for espousing an expansive version of the unitary theory of the presidency which holds that a president can massacre entire villages now finds that it’s beyond the powers of the president to sign an executive order ordering federal contractors to disclose political contributions.
As I noted yesterday, there’s a vast sociological literature demonstrating that after the central prediction of apocalyptic cults goes unfulfilled many of members of the group will not give up but rather intensify their belief. And so it goes with birtherism in the aftermath of the release of President Obama’s ‘long form’ birth certificate.

House Republicans are coming up with different approaches to defend their Medicare Phase Out vote. But Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is going with what may be the most coherent approach. West says Medicare will destroy America.
Oklahoma legislator defends anti-affirmative action vote by claiming “blacks” just don’t work as hard.
A 51 year old Illinois man, Ramon Conaway, has been convicted of making a false threat to detonate an explosive device and influencing a federal officer by threat. The conviction stems from a stand-off with federal agents last September in which Conaway threatened to kill the president and burn a Quran.
Conaway faces up to 5 years on the first charge and 10 on the second, in addition to various fines.

Donald Trump, who has a line of clothes made in China, tells Chinese “mother f——-s” he’ll tax their products at 25% when he becomes president. Watch it.
