Wire reports say that a 28-year-old axe-wielding Somali national was shot and arrested after trying to break into the home of Danish editorial cartoonist Kurt Westergaard.

Westergard is the man who drew the famous/infamous Mohammad cartoons that caused an uproar in 2006.

Late Update: The man who was shot and arrested was apparently one of three assailants.

Fire on the Right

As we start ramping up our 2010 election coverage, we’re paying close attention to races where Republicans have a good shot at knocking off a Democratic incumbent but have an intra-party conflict pitting somewhat moderate GOPers against the Tea Party/Club for Growth right.
