A senior administration official tells TPMDC that AHIP is “up to its old tricks.” In a meeting last week, Karen Ignagni, AHIP’s president and CEO, told White House officials her group was was working on a report but was “a ways away from having anything they were going to put out,” the administration source tells TPMDC. The White House was not tipped off to the report before it dropped late last night.
