Two new national polls are out this morning. Both show 7 point spreads for President Obama, though one of the two, the Reason poll, concluded on the 17th.
This is the poll trend starting from the beginning of the summer. Obama seems to be sustaining a mild post-convention bounce. What stands out to me though is less Obama’s surge as Romney’s drop. The trend since the GOP convention is very clear. And it seems not so much like Obama is consolidating the relatively small pool of undecideds as Romney is actually hemorrhaging support.
