Another of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s associates has been arrested on drug offenses. But don’t get too excited. It’s for trafficking marijuana, not crack.
So what the hell?
The guy in question is 35 year old Sandro Lisi, arrested last night on four charges related to the possession and trafficking of pot. Lisi is a member of Ford’s inner circle and his sometimes driver, body guard and drug supplier. Lisi also has a history of threatening and/or assaulting various women.
In Toronto’s glory days earlier this year, Lisi was implicated in the Mayor’s crack scandal. He was allegedly the guy dispatched to hunt down the cracktacular crack video showing the Mayor smoking crack with various dudes either soon to be killed or arrested before Gawker or the Toronto Star.
More prosaically the Toronto Star reported that Lisi claims to be Mayor Ford’s drug supplier.
