Over recent months we’ve looked again and again at President Obama’s approval number on the economy as a key indicator of his reelection prospects. After tracking down sharply for a few months there was a bounce back up in mid-March which has now seemed to subside. The TPM Poll Average now stands at 44.3% approval vs. 52.3% disapproval.
