Present at the Creation

Pardon the pretentious title. But but my dear friend Josh Green, top writer at The Atlantic Monthly, has written a short post on the beginnings of TPM. Back then I was barely holding on as DC Editor of The American Prospect. The rest of the DC staff consisted of Josh and Nick Confessore, now of The New York Times. Here’s Josh’s slightly mortifying but quite generous and pretty much accurate recollection of how TPM began.
