I dream of Chris Christie entering the presidential race, if for no other reason the sheer kinetic potential of it. But I fear it is too much to hope for. What do you think? Is this going to happen?
Late Update: Here’s a very curious, interesting article just out from the Journal. On its face it appears to show that Christie is telling people or was as recently as last week telling people he would not get in. But what it really looks like is that Meg Whitman is saying he told her last week that he wasn’t getting in. And she needed that assurance to agree to hold a fundraiser for Christie because she’s a big supporter of Mitt Romney. So I get the sense there’s a rather high stakes backstory to this piece. And perhaps much more than the piece itself suggests.
