How much money will Mitt Romney (plus SuperPacs) have to spend over the next two weeks to destroy Rick Santorum?
The new TPM Poll Average of the Michigan presidential primary has Rick Santorum opening up a 7 point lead over Mitt Romney (Santorum 36%, Romney 29.1%, Gingrich 17%, Paul 13.5%). This comes on the same day that Santorum is poised to move into the lead nationwide.
So my question is this: how much money does it take for Romney to stomp Santorum before the Michigan primary on February 28? And what’s the attack?
