After news broke about the death of Anwar Al-Awlaki’s overnight I was interested and curious to see tweets on the topic from Hussein Ibish, former Communications Director for the Arab-American Anti-discrimination Committee and now with the American Task Force on Palestine. (He’s a must-follow on twitter by the way.) Ibish’s take was that al Awlaki had posed a unique kind of threat to Arab-Americans and Muslim-Americans. And that purely from that perspective his demise was a very good thing. We interviewed Ibish this afternoon on the topic to follow up. Take a look.
