At the Naval Academy

The campus of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis was the site of an impromptu and raucous rally last night after the death of Osama bin Laden was announced.

Videos after the fold …

A public affairs officer at the Academy would not directly confirm the following clips are from the rally, but she did confirm that leaders of the school kicked off an unscheduled event after the news of bin Laden’s death at the hands of American special forces came down.

“I’m not going to officially confirm it because it wasn’t an official thing,” the PIO told TPM. The PIO’s office did confirm that the clip of Capt. Robert Clark below was was an accurate depiction.

So here, unofficially, are some Naval Academy sailors and their leaders getting officially fired up after the death of bin Laden.
