Telling You What I Think

I won’t mention the show. Because these things are often cancelled at the last moment. But I’m going to go on TV this afternoon to debate the targeted killing of Anwar al-Awlaki. And I’m on the ‘for’ position. (These things always get radically simplified. But when asked, do I think it was illegal? No. I don’t.) The Coming Voter Suppression Storm

What are the consequences of the crackdown on voting that kicked off in 2011 and is going to hit in a big way in 2012. We’ve been covering the different dimensions of it in states across the country. But now a new study shows that GOP voter suppression efforts are likely to impact some 5 million Americans next year. Not surprisingly, almost all Democrats. Of course, that’s bigger than the margin of many a lot of recent national elections.
