The conservative organization Club For Growth announced on Monday it is pouring $750,000 into TV ads and direct mail in New Hampshire to help Republican candidate Marilinda Garcia.

Garcia, a legislator in the state House, is perhaps the most exciting new candidate for the tea party in 2014 — their picks were mostly wiped out by the establishment in Republican primaries, particularly in the Senate.

The Club For Growth’s TV ad doesn’t mention Garcia — it attacks her opponent, first term Rep. Annie Kuster (D) as someone who “wants higher taxes for you, but she didn’t pay her own.”

Endorsed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and dubbed a “taxpayer hero” by the Club, Garcia has dismissed the minimum wage as a “petty, short-sighted” sort of “wedge” issue. She supports repealing Obamacare but recently gained attention after she resisted saying what kind of health care plan she was on. She also rankled the House GOP’s campaign arm by initially refusing to say if she’d support Speaker John Boehner (R-OH).

  1. The only hypocrites I see here are Cruz, Garcia and the Club for Growth- which hates actual growth and wants nothing more than to destroy the economy.

  2. Keep pouring it on. She needs every dime you have. Her mom and dad could use a little time together alone, too.

  3. Righto. A., NH had better get smart and not vote for crazy rt. wing, repub. t. bags. I wonder about this State and Hope they prove me wrong about them. Wake up.

  4. I like the basic contempt the teabaggers have for the average voter, believing that their vote can be bought, even though in the last election they spent over $300 million dollars for a grand total of zip.
