When looking at an impending Donald Trump presidency, the internet found a face to rally behind: VP Joe Biden.

And as a majority of individual voters attempt to wrap their heads around the election results, so too does treasure to memekind, Joe Biden.

Biden is not new to the meme scene. His friendship (bromance) with President Barack Obama has been documented on Twitter, imgur and any meme-driven site throughout the past eight years.

His love for POTUS is no secret, and he might even be guilty of encouraging the internet’s obsession with the executive office bromance.

But after Donald Trump was elected president, Biden became the face of lighthearted and silly frustration, breaking through the outgoing president’s restrained and accepting reaction to election results.

Even the out-of-touch media has picked up on the trend.

If you’re having a hard time accepting election’s results, take solace in the fact that Biden’s meme self is too. Follow Biden as he comes to terms with the transition to a President-elect Trump, as told by the internet.
