Last year, President Barack Obama told People Magazine that he thought the “Duck Dynasty” family seemed “like a pretty fun bunch.” Apparently the feeling is mutual.

Willie Robertson, the son of controversial “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson, appeared on Laura Ingraham’s radio show Monday and said that out of all Democratic politicians, Obama is who he’d like to take along for a morning of duck hunting.

“I’d like to talk and debate and find out what’s going on in his brain a little more,” he told Ingraham. “You know that’s kinda my philosophy, I don’t shy away from people I disagree with. I want to know why they think what they do and see if you can move to maybe change their thinking in some ways.”

Robertson said he’s already met the President a couple times and spoke with him after the State of the Union address, which he attended as the guest of Rep. Vance McAllister (R-LA).

“I’d like to get him out there with some camouflage and a gun and we could sit out there and talk,” Robertson said.
