Chris Christie speaks during a news conference Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at the Statehouse in Trenton. Christie has fired a top aide who engineered political payback against a town mayor, saying she lied. Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Anne Kelly is the latest casualty in a widening scandal that threatens to upend Christie's second term and likely run for president in 2016. NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Some conservatives seem to be planning to walk out during New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

A journalist for The Daily Beast snapped a photo of the one of the protesters ahead of Christie’s speech.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many attendees of CPAC planned to walk out during the speech.

Update: The protest appeared to be a handful of attendees, as the room stayed full for Christie’s speech.
