Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell will file a motion to dismiss his indictment, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported Wednesday.
McDonnell and his wife were charged in January for illegally accepting more than $150,000 in gifts from political donor Jonnie Williams.
McDonnell has until March 25 to file for a dismissal, and he is set to appear in court on March 19 for a hearing on the motions, according to the Times-Dispatch.
The McDonnells plead not guilty in late January, and their trial is set for July 28.
